Rune AbilitiesEdit

These abilities involve the use of your current weapon. The type of damage is based on your ATK and the attribute of your weapon. Each rune ability is categorized under a type of weapon that it was meant to be used for. However, you can use these abilities with any type of weapon equipped with no penalties.

Dash Slash Short Sword 2000G 100G Closes the gap between enemies in an instant. Good timing may net you an additional leg drop.
Rush Attack Short Sword 3800G 190G Press the button repeatedly for additional attacks and a finisher.
Wind Slash Long Sword 3400G 170G A vertical jump-spin attack. Keep pressing the button to increase the number of spins.
Flash Strike Long Sword 9800G 490G Blow away foes with one swing. Covers wide areas very effectively.
Reaper Slash Spear 2700G 135G Long-ranged attack. Best used when surrounded.
Axel Disaster Spear 3200G 160G Spinning and boring. Must face the enemy head-on to inflict continuous damage.
Upper Cut Fist 3000G 150G Launch enemies into the air.
Rapid Move Fist 9800G 490G Move toward an enemy in an instant. Also useful to dodge attacks.
Twin Attack Dual Blades 1700G 85G Stab, twist and pull -- like a psychotic mantra. Simple, but effective.


The damage is based on your M.ATK and the attribute of the magical spell itself.

Escape - - - Used for instant transport. Where it takes you depends on where you use it, but the last stop is always home.
Greeting Spell - 1500G 75G If you say hello, even people who don't like you will say hi back. They'll be your special friends. Your special awake friends.
Fireball Fire 2200G 110G Hurls small fireballs. Can hurl up to 3 at a time.
Big Fire Fire 4840G 242G Hurls large fireballs. Can hurl up to 2 at a time.
Explosion Fire 7260G 363G Hurls giant fireballs that cause explosions on impact, damaging their surroundings.
Water Laser Water 2400G 120G Emits a water beam that can penetrate stone. The longer you maintain it, the bigger the impact.
Screw Rock Earth 2300G 115G Summons sharp rocks that substitute for your fists. Designed for fighter mages.
Sonic Wind Wind 2500G 125G Emits spinning wind blades that automatically track and shred their foes to pieces.
Dark Ball Dark 3080G 154G Emits a dark light ball that travels slowly and destroys everything in its way.
Dark Snake Dark 6720G 336G Emits a dark light ball that snakes forward slowly and destroys everything in its path.
Cure - 1200G 60G Recovers HP, for yourself and for nearby companions. Doesn't recover much, but uses few RP.
Cure All - 5800G 290G Recovers a lot of HP for you and your companions, even if they're not close by. Uses lots of RP. No image
Light Barrier - 3300G 165G Emits 2 light balls in front of you, protecting from enemies.
Prism - 11700G 585G Emits spinning light balls. Provides complete protection from all enemies for a short while.
